I am writing this letter with heartfelt gratitude and amazement for stopping my husband smoking completely with just one visit to your clinic. My husband Andy has smoked between 40 and 50 cigarettes a day for 17 years and didn't particularly want to give up and certainly didn't think he could, the longest he had ever lasted without smoking in the past was 5 hours. Dear Dr. Landale

I'VE STOPPED SMOKING. Yes it's true after smoking 30 cigarettes a day for nearly 40 years I've finally quit smoking and it's all thanks to you. I have tried many times in the past (patches, gum and inhalers) I've tried going cold turkey and in desperation I even went to Zyban, all to no avail. Then a friend told me about you. Well, I have to say I was cynical. How on earth can one give up a 40 year nicotine habit just because a chap puts a stitch in the ear? Well, you can, I know that now. I'll be honest, I left your surgery thinking 'Give me an hour and I'll be gasping for a ciggie' but I have never gasped for (nor wanted) a ciggie since. For the first time in a long time I can breathe more easily and I have more energy. When I came to your surgery I could not imagine life without a cigarette, now I can't imagine life with one. I visited your clinic a month ago on February 2nd ( as somewhat of a cynic I have to say) But having left the clinic with confidence in you, I have been absolutely amazed at it's effectiveness. I thoroughly enjoyed cigarettes and admit to being 100% addicted to the evil weed. I am delighted by the results of your treatment. When people have asked me the effects of the treatment I have only been able to describe it as "having a magic spell cast over me" Most of all I am so happy not feeling imprisoned by this addiction.
